Welcome to Barcelona Middle School
We Believe

Barcelona’s leadership team and staff have worked together to create core commitments.  Our commitments are the foundation of what we believe and are our guiding force behind how we treat students and make decisions.

Every student deserves a high quality education from a staff who is committed to their success, who believes in them, and will do whatever it takes to ensure individual student success and growth.

Mrs. Paige Brill
Principal

I believe it is imperative that children are afforded the educational opportunity that enables them to maximize their ability and skill set allowing them to develop the capacity to become contributing members of society.

Tax Credit Donations
Reduce Your State Tax Bill by Supporting Barcelona Middle School

If you havenít already done so, itís time to start thinking about the school tax credit.† As an Arizona taxpayer, you can direct some of your state tax dollars directly to your local school for extracurricular activities.†

The Alhambra Elementary School District established an extracurricular activity fund that will enable disadvantaged children to participate in after-school activities such as tutoring, music, visual arts, and recreational programs.† These extracurricular activities help children develop qualities such as leadership, team play, and cooperation, as well as provide safe, supervised activities for students after school hours.

State law provides an opportunity for the majority of Arizona taxpayers to† contribute money to local public schools to be used for extracurricular activities.† Extracurricular activities help children develop qualities such as leadership, team play, and cooperation, as well as provide safe, supervised activities after school hours.† As an Arizona taxpayer, you may make a contribution to a public school Ė $400 for a married couple or $200 for a single person Ė and then deduct that entire amount from your state tax bill.† A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in the actual tax amount owed.† Itís a win-win situation for taxpayers and students!

To make a tax credit donation to the Alhambra District, simply fill out a tax credit donation form† and return it to the Alhambra District office at 4510 N. 37th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85019, Attention:† School Tax Credit.† Checks received before December 31st receives credit for current yearís taxes.† If your employer offers an Employee Matching Gift Program they may match your gift to Alhambra District!† Check with your Human Resources or Employee Benefits Department.
